Hi! Let me tell you about me, my life & how I got here

I was an underpaid business consultant working on misaligned projects, living in a misaligned city, being part of a misaligned relationship, and with mystery illnesses that caused daily fatigue and brain fog.

I had just moved from my native Amsterdam to New York City and felt more disconnected from who I was than ever. While I tried everything to get myself out of this rut, from therapy to yoga, from diet changes to hypnosis, nothing worked. I was about to give up on my dreams when I joined a moon circle that changed my life.

In this circle, I had two realizations that brought me where I am today:

1 — If we don't consciously create the life we want, we subconsciously create the life we don't want. It's why change starts on the inside.

2 — We subconsciously shrink ourselves to fit into our surroundings as a means of survival unless we consciously put up energetic boundaries so we can embody our truth.

I knew that NOW was the time to start something new for my own good, but also for the many women in my life I saw going around in circles while they were so ready to leap.

So I started hosting women's circles in my Brooklyn apartment — not knowing that this was the beginning of my coaching business Life Academy and the She Who Leads community.

Turned out my dreams didn't have to stay dreams after all.

I now live in San Fransisco with the love of my life, our puppy, and an amazing community. I work a few hours a day supporting the most incredible women rise into their most empowered Self. As I learned how to consciously create the life I love, my body healed itself too.

Sometimes I can't believe I'm *here*. But don't get me wrong. It's work to create a life you love. But the work can feel so expansive, joyful and empowering — and I'm here to show you how.
